Term Programmes

The Best after-school programme in the land!

WORD is best known for getting kids out on bikes after school during the school terms. It has been our bread and butter since day one, and continues to be where we put a lot of our energy.

Programmes are regular and reliable, providing an encouraging and personable environment for kids to not only learn fantastic skills on their bike with a great instructor, but get to learn how to be good kids with like-minded riders.

For the most part, our after school programmes run once a week, between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. We have programmes running from Mondays through to Thursdays, and across the capital: Matairangi, Mt Victoria; Mākara Peak, Karori; and Rangituhi, Porirua.

“Our 9 1/2 year old son has been to WORD school holiday programs since he was 7. The personal confidence that it has given him so visible in not only his biking, love for the sport but it extends to school work and team sports. It has given him confidence to know he can do it and the feeling of loving something that he can claim as his own doing. Thank you WORD for reaching out son to take calculated risks in a safe and super way fun. 🤩.”

“My son came home each day bouncing out of his skin. He had a great time. (And as his Mum, I appreciate that the WORD instructors were teaching him track etiquette and ways to be safe.)”
